the auto-mod is so fucked!
I don't even understand the criteria it uses because it feels like complete chance whether or not your shit gets deleted.
And sometimes it'll let you post for like 5 mins and suddenly be like NAH. "we had to remove your post because it broke our rules but we won't tell you which one" WTF?? the amount of times I've had to alter/water down my thought just to post the thing is insane.
I feel like that's mostly the reason you see so many dumb thoughts, because everything else gets deleted.
edit: actually, reading OPs title again is a perfect example of the type of vague word usage that's necessary to successfully post in this subreddit.

I have friends whom I respect for various reasons. And I respect their opinions enough to ask for them. So maybe some people have friends that respect them.
Humans evolved as a both a product of the competition and cooperation needed to survive and a sense of what is fair and unfair for one and all.
Sometimes people act selfishly in survival mode and do not respect others more than themselves. But I think your statement “extremely unlikely” doesn’t reflect the whole picture.
