Changing 'last person' to 'last adult', I think it'd go something like this.

Beside the huge logical issue of having no children to tell it to, I don’t get this. Why would he have a lot to tell? I don’t get this thought at all

I don’t get the thought. In a „normal life“ complex things happen cause of the many possibilities. The last person on earth wouldn’t have all these complex little details? It’s just a „well there was a bomb“ kinda explanation …
