I recently learned about cheese dreaming, which for those who don’t know is where you eat cheese before you go to sleep to induce weird dreams. It’s a kind of hack to get really vivid, semi lucid dreams. My real life is a string of horrific failures so being able to have a fun dream life really appealed to me. Tonight, I tried it for myself, but I went a bit over board. I ate half of a Costco size bag of shredded Mexican style cheese and laid down. I turned on my brown noise generator and expected to fall into a deep slumber. As anyone with half a brain ( but apparently not me) might expect, it wasn’t too long before the stomach problems began. It started with nausea and this crazy bubbling feeling, then escalated to unstoppable vomit. When blood started coming out, I called an ambulance. The EMTs found me passed out on my bathroom floor. My coworker who I have a huge crush on is apparently covering my shift at work and knows that I’m in the hospital. I think she sees me as a tough and cool guy, so I’m afraid to talk to her next time I see her and explain that cheese put me in the hospital. I’ll probably lie.

Wait... So, are you allergic to cheese or something?
I do not understand how eating cheese before bed, causes you to feel pain, vomiting, and internal bleeding.

Intensely, apparently. Got the diagnosis last night.
EDIT: phrasing

That sounds like the worst way to find out. I hear apple juice also give you vivid dreams if you ever fancy trying again

Cheese dreaming? I'm on my way to buy a truckload of cheese, I'll explain later

This sounds like the absolute worst way to achieve lucid dreaming. There are a myriad of dream herbs that are safer, more effective, and don’t trigger lactic digestive distress, all available to order online with a quick google search. For the love of God and your own gastric system try that first.

It's real. However generally it only triggers nightmares for me, so I have to avoid eating it right before bed (even in small quantities).

This sounds like absolute nonsense. If I had to guess this sounds like one of those Tik Tok trends. Honestly it makes me want to start trolling Tik Tok with stupid advice, but that would require getting Tik Tok and that just is not going to happen

It's real because cheese contains high levels of tryptophan and tyramine. Blue cheese works very well to have the weirdest dreams. They can be nightmares sometimes though but in my experience they were mostly cool dreams.

So Kyle....how long have you been on the cheese huh?
This is cheesing man. You'll wake up in the middle of the park fighting a teenaged boy in your underwear.
See South Park for reference....

If he knew that in advance then he's a fucking idiot. "Lemme overeat something I am allergic too, it'll work out great!"
I have no sympathy.
