UPDATE: He’s now making a rectangle and showing me “4”
For anyone who missed my last post, yesterday this construction worker who’s working on the high rise across the street from my office kept showing me a pentagon with his arms followed by a display of five fingers. He was later joined by two other workers.
Well today he’s showing me a rectangle over his head and then showing me four fingers. It’s kind of freaking me out. He’ll like be working for a half hour, then I’ll look over and he will be facing me and doing the rectangle pose for ten seconds, then showing me four fingers. Then after five minutes of that he will be back at work. I’m just so confused. What is he doing? Is he trying to teach me shapes? It also seems like he’s counting down because yesterday it was five and today it’s four. It could also be that he’s messing with me, but like… why?
I want to go over to talk to someone at the site but I’m too busy to leave my desk and there’s a company lunch today that I have to attend. I’ll try to go over after work.
No one on this sub really had any clue either about why he was doing the pentagon and the five yesterday besides that he may be asking me to have sex with him at five o’clock, which I do not think is the case. perhaps someone has a better idea now?

Is there a crane operating? It sounds to me like he's giving hand signals to a crane or guiding steel.
He may be using the reflection of the windows to signal someone below or above him.
He may be signaling some below or above you.
You have no clue, and going to the site trailer will only result in a polite brush-off from the superintendent and a story he'll tell for the next 5 or 10 years.

Most high rise office buildings are going to be Low-E at the minimum and will still result in reflections during work hours.
