What’s the funniest thing I could do with a ~300k inheritance?

My uncle recently passed and my cut of this inheritance comes out to about three hundred thousand. I know the classic Reddit advice is to invest it and not touch it. However I’m honestly financially comfortable as it is, and even though most in my standing still would not repudiate such a sum of money, I have a different idea of what to do with it.

My uncle was the funniest guy I knew, at least when I was growing up. When my family had him over for dinner, it was a guarantee that whatever I was drinking was going to be spit out at some point during one of his long-winded stories, usually ones about encounters with strangers abroad. He just had such a way with words and gesticulation, it was like he wasn’t even trying to be funny but couldn’t help himself.

When I was a teen he was getting into stand up and I had no doubt he was going to make it big. But he had barely made a splash when he got sick. It came on out of no where and all at once, and it was so bad he lost his ability to speak like he used to, and with that loss also went his ability to perform. He became very jaded and felt that he had been cheated by the world, and he spent the next few decades super bitter.

It wasn’t until his last months that he started to again smile regularly, maybe because he had finally accepted his fate and the unfairness of life. In those days he kept telling me he only wished he had more time, and that if he did, he would do “something big”. He talked about that a lot, and I never knew exactly what he meant (and I don’t think he did either), but what I think he meant was to do something funnier than anything that had been done before; a huge prank, on the scale of the world.

To that end, I want to honor this wish with my inheritance, since he never got to. I want to use it all up to do something hilarious, but unfortunately I don’t have the “funny gene.” All I can think of is renting hundreds billboards and bench ads, and putting some weird image on there, but I have no idea what image and I don’t even know if it would actually be funny. Do you guys have any ideas?
