AIO: My surgeon husband and is watching Instagram Reels on the job
I wish this were a joke but my husband isn’t the type to make jokes like this. I told him it makes me super uncomfortable that he’s sending me reels when I know he’s performing surgeries. Not sure if this is a typical doctor thing but if I can’t watch reels on the job at my school then surely someone controlling life and deaf shouldn’t either

OR. He’s allowed to decompress between surgeries. I’d rather see that than him rushing through a medical text book trying to remember where to cut. 😆

Most people aren't dumb enough to not know when they are okay to use their phones even if technically they are not supposed to at their job. Surely someone with a medical degree isn't willing to risk their job if they believe using their phone will not only risk their job but harm someone...hopefully.

Us healthcare workers will continue to use the phone on the job. Thank you; all the abuse we endure we are using our phones at least

…. What? Dude yeah he’s a surgeon, obviously he will need some de-stress time because of it. OR to the highest degree. Maybe instead of making him feel bad for it, indulge a little in what he’s sending you. A nice take away is that he is thinking of you on his down time and wants you to see the funny things he sees.
