Could Gollum have been made back into a productive member of the world?

I asked a fan to render a picture of gollum if he survived after the destruction of the ring. He looks so depressed, just a working creature with no joy. Could he have been made into something else except a wretched soul?

If the ring was destroyed without Gollum he likely would have died immediately, once its effects were removed. Terrible AI slop image btw.

If he went to Valinor, maybe. It would take like most of an eternity probably but yeah maybe it’s possible

Even if any were allowed to go there, Valinor doesn’t make mortals immortal.
