I can’t believe how disrespectful what just happened happened was. I was microwaving my lunch and an attorney strolls in, sees the microwave is in use, and impatiently taps his foot. He walks out and back in a couple minutes later and I hear him say „oh come on…” under his breath, clearly upset that my potato is still cooking.
He then opens the microwave, takes my lunch out and says „I’m just gonna…” and then puts in his Tupperware and zaps it for a minute.
I said „seriously?” He said he has a deposition and is in the middle of questioning.
I don’t care WHAT your excuse is, first come first serve. And do NOT touch anyone else’s food. I had to throw out the potato and cook another from my break room stash.

And that it was somehow so ruined by being removed from the microwave that they had to start again with a whole new potato. 😂

Just reviewed OPs account and he is a silly troll. Post history made me laugh

I would too. Not because I’m “support staff,” but because someone is doing something time sensitive and needs it more than me. I would do the same for a coworker.

I would pause my potato cooking for you, Skweekykleen!

Yeah I thought this was a normal 2-3 minute max microwave time. Attorney was still insanely rude and could have asked if they could use it as they were on a time crunch, but I’d be annoyed too if I only had 10 minutes to eat and someone was using the microwave for 10-15 for a potato.
