TIFU by allowing my boyfriend to speak

Obligatory not today but a week after last Saturday.

So my boyfriend and I have a, let's say, unconventional relationship. It used to be normal until he cheated on me last month. After he begged for me back, I agreed under one condition: in my presence, he can only speak when I allow him to. It was the sort of role-reversal, progressive move I always wanted to make, and I finally got the chance to. It went great for the first month, and I have some really funny stories to share; however, that's not the point of this post.

So this time, I'm at dinner with him, enjoying the silence. Finally, I can't take it anymore, and I allow him to speak. The waitress comes over to ask if everything is ok, and he says some flirtatious thing. I am about to not allow him to speak again, but I don't want to seem weird, so I excuse myself, pretending to go to the bathroom but really intending to speak to the manager. When I came back a few minutes later, they were both gone. I haven't heard from him since.

TL;DR Allowed my bf to speak at a restaurant, he left with the waitress.
