Every human is responsible for climate change and therefore everyone should be tortured for 15 minutes a day in reparation.
Since we all fucked the planet, every single one of us, every single human deserves to be punished in an equal way. The most fitting punishment it seems to me is like 15 minutes of torture every week. And that is being nice. 24 hours a day is what we all deserve for fucking the planet over for our future generations but we wouldn't be able to fix it with all our time being taken up by being tortured.
The planet, if it were sentient, should administer this torture. Perhaps by waterboarding us? Or burning us all? But since it is not sentient, we get away with fucking the planet unpunished.
