My boyfriend (18M) got an impulse vasectomy without telling me (19F).

A couple nights ago my bf was out with the lads and they had one too many I guess and they ended up convincing him to get a vasectomy. I can't even begin to comprehend why he would do this, but that's not my issue. The way I see it, he could get it reversed, but what was really messed up is he didn't tell me; I had to find out from a hospital bill. I still haven't told him I know. We haven't discussed children yet but i don't think he is against having them. What do I do?

Yeah...I’m not buying this. Doctors won’t do a vasectomy on a teenager.

This isn't a drunk tattoo. Barring immediate life threatening issues, no hospital is going to perform ANY surgery on someone who's so drunk as to lose all judgment. Let alone without getting all the financial aspects sorted first. That's a liability nightmare. These things are consulted, these things are scheduled, it's not in and out like getting one's hair done. Impulse? You need to get the facts straight, because so many facts are lacking here.

I really doubt a urologist would do a vasectomy on a 18 year old .

I don’t think this happened at all. Especially if he was drunk there would be no way any doctor would preform on him.

Having had a vasectomy, I'm call bullshit.

After one you spend weekend with a bag of frozen peas on your nads to keep the swelling down. It isn't something that you get done and are fine 20 minutes later.
