Plagiarism should not be punished
Sometimes students just get busy. We all know a time when we've had 5 papers due in one week and 4 tests. If one feels they cannot complete an assignment to the best of their ability, then actually attempting to do the paper is worse than submitting a carbon copy of a previously existing work.

Are you serious? The whole point of these assignments is to demonstrate your comprehension of the material.

I only agree because it will bring about the death of contemporary post-secondary education that much faster once the whole thing openly becomes a joke.
