Why do Hispanic people say "Hey Zeus" when referring to Jesus? Is this a carry-over from Anceint Greek Relgion?

It's the Spanish pronunciation ; J's are pronounced as h's.

Oh fuck I think you're right. But how about the Spanish for ice cream, "helado", by this logic wouldn't it be pronunced "jay-lado" rather than "heh-leto"

No, helado is how it's spelled in spanish, which is why it's pronounced as such. Generally h's in Spanish are silent, but to be honest I'm not an expert so I'm afraid I'm not too sure. Sorry if that's not very clear.

Bit of a double-standard, eh?

No, because Spanish doesn't turn the letter H into a J sound.

While I can't specifically answer your question, Jesus' name wasn't actually "Jesus". It was yehōshu'a, which honestly is closer to "hey zeus" than "Jesus" anyway.

That's a dumbass logic.

I'm pretty sure history isn't the same thing as logic

Nope. Spanish is closer to Latin, and like in Latin, the J sound isn't pronounced the same way as it is in English.

It's not "Hey Zeus". It's a word that sounds like 'haysus" and is spelled "Jesus". The 'J' in Jesus was originally an I in Latin, which was pronounced more like a modern Y. Latin spells it something like "Iesus". The original Hebrew name for Jesus was said more like "Yeshua". People changed how they pronounce the name as it got translated into different languages, and as languages shifted and evolved over the centuries.

But this Latino language come from Spain don't it so??

I'm not sure what you mean by "Latino language". Spanish, French, and Italian all evolved from Latin. Latin originally developed in ancient Rome, which is located in the area we now call Italy.
