I was in charge of inspect the city's water supply (I live in Poland). I was ordered by the ruling party PiS to destroy any evidence of malpractice in the treatment facility, including but not limited to lead in the water in 2018. I decided to blow the whistle and sped over to my cop buddy's house to let him know. I just walked into the house as I often do. Problem is, I went into the wrong person's house and they thought I was an intruder so they began firing their pistol at me. I threw my hands up as a sign of 'I have no harmful intent' but accidentally knocked over a lantern, burning down the house and 5 others next to it.
