"Franksgiving" is the weirdest Thanksgiving spin-off ever created and I hate its existence

Remember when you didn't have to bring in a fucking Oscar Mayer weiner to work and give it to your boss? Yeah, me neither.

I honestly don't know how this became a thing. I know it started with the hot dog competition charity thing a couple years back, but now it's just a weird tradition. And everyone seems to think it's normal. Last year I didn't bring one, because I didn't want to have to buy a pack of hot dog weiners I wouldn't eat just to appease my boss. She told me it was fine, but I could tell she was pissed off. It took me half a year to get back into her good graces.

Even though I hate this tradition, I'm going to go into work tomorrow with a fucking hot dog in my pocket, getting my pants damp from the juice. Because I have to. I hate my life.

What the hell are you talking about? I have never heard of this. Is it a local / regional thing? I'm in the midwestern part of the United States, and have been working in an office for nearly 30 years and have never heard of this at any of my jobs. Nor have I ever heard of anyone talking about this.

Are you sure you're not being pranked?

PS - use a baggie!
