IsItBullshit: The Existence of an All-Powerful God?
I've always been religious (Eastern Orthodox) and never questioned it. It's just been so obvious to me that there must be a God, but now after spending a semester of college I've encountered many "atheists" who have made me think that maybe the truth isnt so simple. What's the rundown?

This is way outside this sub. People are going to answer depending on their own religious/areligious beliefs. If you're interested in a particular viewpoint you should go to different groups and ask them to explain their outlook.

If there is an all powerful god he/she isn’t a being of good. All this evil in the world, child diseases, genocides, torture, famine, sexual abuse, etc.. would be the actions of this “all powerful god”
