IsItBullshit: When a service dog comes up to you alone, it means it’s owner is in distress and it wants you to follow it.

I was hiking and heard a loud crash followed by screaming. I ignored it (there are a lot of murders in my local trail) but then I heard a dog bark. I looked behind me and saw a service dog. I shrugged it off and and kept walking. My wife told me someone was problem in distress

It costs thousands of dollars to train a service dog.
If one is just wandering around, something is wrong.

Maybe he has been trained to get help, maybe he's just lost. Either way, something is very wrong.
