Decided to make my own guitar instead of buying one :)
I recently destroyed my Ibanez whilst on a bender and in a fit of rage over an irritating level in my video game. I didn't even realize it was broken until this morning, when on my way to band practice. After cleaning it up and splintering my hand pretty fucking bad, I decided that, in an effort to stick true to the principles of simple living, I was going to build my own guitar instead of buying one. I saw this one documentary where kids made instruments out of trash, so that's what I think I'm going to do. I haven't taken out my trash in weeks lol so there's plenty to work with. Anyway, I'll let y'all know how it goes.

I feel like it would be simpler to just stop going on benders, and then buy a new guitar with the money saved.
