How Cruella Beat Joker At Its Own Game

It's as if Arthur was speaking about the film industry. In a way, it is getting crazier. Filmmakers are taking chances on projects that no one would dare touch just a decade ago. I think Joker was the first of these that broke into the mainstream, but because Hollywood had its clammy little fingers all over the project, it couldn't succeed. Yes, it said what Taxi Driver wanted to say way more entertainingly and impactfully, but its plot was unsatisfying.

Cruella took what Joker was trying to do and knocked it out of the park. Emma Stone's performance was incredible and has convinced me that Stone herself believes in undoing Hollywood from the top down. I think the actors and actresses of Hollywood are ready to destroy the mainstream and rain down chaos.

We should note who is and who isn't part of the underground resistance. Emma Stone is probably one of the leaders.
