I believe historically, men where seen as braver than woman and balls are what separated a man from a woman. Therefore the bigger the balls the further removed you were from a woman and the braver you were.

I remember hearing some story about military aircraft and pilots reference to balls as some kind of instrumentation reading. I think that was specifically about balls to the wall, though.

If anything it would be the one with the least because they would have to do more damage with less balls to win. And as your mom can confirm, bigger balls do more damage than smaller ones.
