Is it inappropriate to ask a pregnant woman to lift a heavy box for you?

I work at a factory where we're on our feet pretty much all day, and we're lifting boxes and supplies that range anywhere from 25 to 100 pounds. Well today I was feeling pretty out of it after going really hard Friday Saturday and Sunday nights. This woman from the upstairs office was walking through our factory today and was clearly really pregnant (and to confirm she had a shirt on that said "yes I'm pregnant"). I've heard that pregnant woman are really strong, so I asked her if she could lift a particularly heavy shipment of literal titanium ore for me. She looked really offended and walked off. Was that a foe paw?

You heard pregnant women are really strong? I’m not sure that even makes sense. But I would have walked away too because lifting heavy boxes is actually dangerous for pregnant women. Even if they’re “really strong”
