If you don’t notice running a person over you shouldn’t be driving at all

I ran over someone and didn't notice the first time.

But I went back to check... and reversed straight over them again.

I try to correct my mistakes in life.

OP totally ran someone over and is trying for plausible deniability.

Im not sure I follow your train of thought. Even running over a squirrel is noticeable.

I hate squirrels, but I'm grateful I've never run one over.

I have. Ran over the dumbass's head with a forklift in the middle of the night. Was moving pallet stacks around the loading dock when BUMP "...What the hell?". Went back and checked the spot on the way bay back, to find a decapitated body twitching in a puddle of blood and skull fragments. Took about a week for various semi truck tires to smear the body to the point that it was no longer distinguishable from the parking lot.

There's about a 3 inch difference in height elevation between where I park and the road, and you definitely notice it when you hit it every single time. So, in order to run over a person and not notice it, they'd have to be unreasonably flat. That would require a LOT of people to run them over and not stop or report it. At that point, there is a bigger risk of hydroplaning.

Nah, as I don't drive. Also based on the size of a person you'd know it, you probably drove off to avoid prosecution.

You can know you ran over ‘something’ and not know it was human. Otherwise, not really.

I feel when I run over gravel on the concrete I definitely would notice a human being.

One day Michael came in complaining about a speed bump on the highway. I wonder who he ran over.

This news was 8 years ago in the Philippines, for some reason the Jeepney driver drove for several kilometers wothout noticing that a person was trapped underneath the vehicle, a long straight line of blood can be seen on the road and the person underneath is barely recognizable. Imagine the horror seeing a straight line of blood and bits of human on the road stretching for several kilometers.

For sure, especially truck drivers, seem a few vids here. I backed over a set of mailboxes and didn't even notice, probably equivalent to at least 5 people.

The only thing I've ever run over was a squirrel...and that was coincidentally just a couple of days ago. Friggin dude just randomly bolted into the street and in front of me before I could even react.

If you have your eyes on the road then yes you probably would notice

Yes, but that’s only because I used to be a blackout drunk. (Don’t worry, I’m 10 years sober now…)
